Ethics Policies
Turkuaz Publications is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, following guidelines from COPE, DOAJ, and OASPA.
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the publication process, including submission, peer review, editorial decisions, and communication.
All contributing authors must complete and submit the ICMJE Potential Conflict of Interest Notification Form (http://www.icmje.org/). The Editorial Board resolves conflicts involving editors, authors, or reviewers in accordance with COPE and ICMJE guidelines.
Plagiarism
Manuscripts that pass preliminary checks are scanned for plagiarism using iThenticate software. Authors are informed if plagiarism or self-plagiarism is detected. High similarity scores may lead to the rejection of a manuscript before or after acceptance.
Double Blind Peer Review
After plagiarism control, appropriate submissions are evaluated for originality, methodology, relevance, and alignment with our scope. The editor ensures a fair, double-blind peer review process. Reviewers’ feedback is sent to authors for corrections, and the revised text is then approved for publication.
Conflicts of Interest
To disclose potential conflicts of interest, authors must complete the ICMJE Potential Conflict of Interest Notification Form (http://www.icmje.org/). Cases of conflict are resolved by the Editorial Board under COPE and ICMJE guidelines.
